Edward F. Latkovic attended California University of PA and graduated with a BS in Mortuary Science in 1990. He then graduated form Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1991 and obtained his Funeral Director's license in 1992.

Ed began his career in funeral service due in part to his respect for Genevieve "Jenny" Stephens of Stephens Memorial Chapel on Cedar Avenue. "My family, mostly from the North side area, always used Jenny's place to handle our funeral arrangements, and it was during those times that Jenny encouraged and spoke to me about the funeral industry.

Following Jenny's lead, Ed also prides himself on educating the community about funeral services and helping to ensure that no one has to enter a funeral home on the worst day of their life uninformed and unprepared. Ed has been working with families on the North Side since 1992 and considers it an honor to be able to carry on the traditions that Jenny established.

Ed, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Latkovic, is a member of the North Side Elks, the North Side Chamber of Commerce, Croation Fraternal Union, Lodge #19 and Javor Hall. He his wife Tricia, and their two children Ryan and Maggie who are their main focus.

 

Marie Wohlgemuth, Funeral Director, is the daughter of James & Rosalie Luckino. She resides in Bethel Park with her two daughters Felicia & Mia. Marie attended Bethany College in Bethany, WV and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where she graduated in 1994. Marie teaches CCD, member of the Lions Club, Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #29, and active in various church, school and social activities. Marie's interest in the funeral business revolves around her desire to help others. As a licensed funeral director, her greatest satisfaction is to compassionately guide our families through one of the most difficult times.
